Problem: Print request to a wrong printer
Printing request may not connect to the right printer because it is not detected when the user tries to establish connection for printing tasks.
Below are the step-by-step instructions to manually add a printer when Windows is unable to detect the right printer you wish to use, or if it’s sending print request to a wrong printer.
Click on the “Start” button and go to “Control Panel”. Under “Hardware and Sound” category, select “Printer”.
Click on the “Add a Printer” option.
Go to “Add Printer Wizard” and choose “Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer”.
When “Choose a network printer” page appears, click on the “the printer that I want isn’t listed”.
Go on the “Find a printer by name or TCP/ IP address” page, select the option depicting how to find the printer you wish to use, depending upon the location and type of the printer. Click “Next”.
Get over with all the additional steps shown in the wizard and click “Finish”.
